REGISTERED INTERIOR DESIGNERS
Registered Interior Designers all have one thing in common — we have each invested a minimum of six years to obtain our professional certification, through accredited education, mentored work experience and an intensive series of professional exams.
As Registered Interior Designers we are are certified with the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications, and are professional members of the Interior Designers Institute of BC (IDIBC). Because of the responsibility of their profession, RID's must participate in ongoing regular professional development and maintain professional liability insurance, just like doctors, engineers and other titled professions. A Registered Interior Designer is a professional that is qualified by education, experience and examination.
Working with an RID who has attained professional membership in a provincial association assures you that the individual meets the highest level of professional qualifications, industry registration standards, carries professional liability insurance as well as errors and omission insurance.
